OUR MISSION STATEMENT

In an effort to promote the highest degree of honesty, integrity and fairness in the real estate arena, Aroostook Real Estate (A.R.E.) provides representation to Sellers and/or Buyers with strict adherence to the rules and guidelines of the Maine Real Estate Commission and the Realtor's Code of Ethics. Sellers and Buyers will receive the most comprehensive and complete information on representation possible. It is the philosophy of our agency that all parties involved should be equally represented, counseled, protected and offered the complete confidentiality of separate and equal representation in each and every transaction.

Cooperation with all agencies to enhance success for Sellers and Buyers and promote relationships between agencies is of paramount importance and will not be compromised regardless of positions of other agencies regarding cooperation.

Every effort will be made to assist our Clients and Customers in the most professional and helpful manner possible and provide the very best guidance and assistance in all areas of real estate. AGENCY
Aroostook Real Estate (A.R.E.) the company, its Brokers, Associate Brokers and Sales Agents may represent Buyers and/or Sellers. This is clearly defined in the MREC Form 3, all company advertising and materials, and in all contacts with the public. ARE maintains that all parties, Buyers and/or Sellers, may be represented in real estate transactions.

POLICY OVERVIEW
Aroostook Real Estate uses and Appointed Agency with Disclosed Dual Agency Policy. Aroostook Real Estate is licensed by MREC to provide real estate services to buyers and sellers of real estate and has adopted the following policies and procedures to carry out its business.

GENERAL POLICIES

1. Aroostook Real Estate adopts the Appointed Agent concept recognized in Maine License Law for all its transactions.
2. It is the policy of ARE to represent both buyers and sellers of real estate with the full array of fiduciary duties.
3. ARE does allow Disclosed Dual Agency.
4. ARE also allows its licensees to work as transaction brokers and to work with either buyers or sellers who remain customers, that is, without benefits of agency representation and the full array of fiduciary duties.
5. It is understood that ARE has at least three licensees licensed with the company to practice Appointed Agency.
